What does giving look like during the most wonderful time of the year? Whether a big campaign or a simple daily post, it’s all about sharing the warmth of the season.
One brand that has warmed our heart this holiday is WestJet. Have you heard about WestJet’s Christmas miracle?
The Calgary-based airline had a virtual Santa kiosk asking passengers what they wanted for Christmas as they scanned their boarding passes. From flights home to tablets to socks and underwear, more than 250 people shared their Christmas wishes. Then, while in the air, the WestJet elves made it happen and baggage claim delivered not only their luggage but big boxes with pretty bows addressed to each passenger from Santa. The tagline: Merry Christmas to all and to all a good flight.
The smiles on the passengers faces was priceless and the stuff of social media legend.
The holidays are the perfect time of year to reward your customers and celebrate the season and while you may not have WestJet’s Blue Crew on speed dial, a big budget isn’t necessary if you want to deliver some red-nosed reindeer cheer.
